iaX is a universal reader compatible with lateral flow assays (LFAs) from multiple manufacturers across many test categories including infectious diseases, cardiac markers, inflammation markers, drugs of abuse, and more. Do we get quantitative results?+
Yes. For iaX-qualified assays, the reader delivers calibrated, quantitative results that go well beyond simple positive/negative. These numeric values support clinical staging, trend monitoring, threshold-based protocols, and more nuanced decision-making at the point of care.
How are results stored and shared?+
Results are securely uploaded to the AssayaDX cloud platform in real time. From there, clinicians can view them via the web portal, export to CSV, or integrate with existing clinical systems (EMR/EHR, LIMS, public health databases) via HL7, FHIR, or API.
What training is required?+
Minimal. The iaX is designed for use by non-laboratory staff with a simple cartridge-based workflow. Assaya provides standard operating procedures, quick-start guides, and hands-on onboarding support. Most teams are fully operational within a single training session.
