+Who’s a good fit for Assaya distribution?
Distributors with healthcare reach (clinics, hospitals/ED, EMS, public health), proven diagnostics sales, regulatory literacy, service/training capacity, and national coverage. Also distributors that specialise in sectors such as crop care, water & environment, veterinary, etc.
+What exactly are we distributing?
The iaX Intelligent Analyzer (a universal reader that machine-reads LFAs from multiple brands) plus accessories. And certain Assaya-branded iaX-Qualified assays (subject to local regulatory approvals).
+Is territory exclusivity available?

Exclusivity is earned, not promised. We start with a provisional (non-exclusive) launch. This can be reviewed after you hit the agreed activation milestones (e.g., sales results, certified reps, pilots started, initial placements, lead-response SLA). At this point we may grant exclusive rights for the defined territory/sector. Exclusivity is maintained by performance and meeting KPIs; if KPIs are missed, we may initiate a cure plan, or distribution reverts to non-exclusive.

In short, our goal is to have each sector within a territory well served, by a committed and high-performing distribution partner. In return for commitment, effective coverage and performance we will reward the partner with exclusivity.

+Do you appoint distributors by sector (e.g., Human Health, EMS, Public Health, Veterinary, Crop/Livestock)?

Yes. We award distribution by sector within a territory so the best-fit distribution partner covers each market.

  • Sector-scoped rights: You may hold one or multiple sectors; others can be awarded to different distributors in the same territory.
  • Performance-based exclusivity: Exclusivity activates per sector once activation milestones are met and is maintained by quarterly KPIs.
  • Growth path: Exceed KPIs for three consecutive quarters and we’ll review adding sectors or expanding territory.
  • Fair carve-outs: Named strategic accounts, government tenders requiring multiple bidders, and unserved leads (no response within SLA).

Example: One partner may hold Human Health & EMS, while another holds Crop Health, Livestock, and Veterinary in the same territory.

+Are there any carve-outs to exclusivity?
Yes: named global/strategic accounts, specialist solution providers, government tenders requiring multiple bidders, and unserved leads (no response within SLA).
+How does deal registration work?
Register in the partner portal; once approved, the opportunity is protected for 90 days and renewable with documented progress.
+Do you share leads?
Yes, for certified partners meeting SLAs. Lead routing and response times are tracked in the portal.
+What margins should we expect?
Discounts are based on volume, commitment, and other factors. We’ll outline device and assay margins in your term sheet.
+Is co-marketing funds available?
Yes. We co-fund campaigns, webinars, and events against an agreed plan and KPIs (reimbursement with proof of activity/results). Terms and conditions apply.
+What enablement do we get?
Sales and technical certifications, demo scripts, battlecards, ROI tools, objection handling, solution playbooks, and a 90-day launch plan.
+Do you provide demo units?
Yes. We offer very special pricing for the purchase of demo/loaner/pilot units. There are terms regarding how many units can be purchased per period and units must be retained for a specified period before being able to be turned over and replaced.
+What about service and RMAs?
You provide L1/L2 support (with our escalation). We offer warranty/RMA processes, spares kits, and turnaround SLAs.
+What are the regulatory expectations?
The distributor acts as importer of record where needed and handles local listings/notifications. We supply product documentation; availability and claims vary by region.
+How is data handled?
Customer test data is owned by the customer; Assaya is the processor where applicable. Distributors have portal access for sale pipeline/reporting/pilot program registration, etc; privacy and security are contractually defined.
+Can we integrate with hospital/LIMS/EMR systems?
Yes. The AssayaDX supports APIs, webhooks, and CSV exports. We provide reference connectors and UAT checklists. Assaya can provide support to you and your customers with regards to the technical information and support in these matters.
+What does "iaX-Qualified" mean for assays?
Assays are profiled (geometry, timing, thresholds), verified on iaX, configured for QC/invalid rules, and listed as certified/qualified, unlocking quantitative/traceable, machine-read results.
+Can we have specific Lateral Flow Assays qualified for use with iaX?
Yes. If you distribute particular assays that you would like qualified, or if there are specific assays that are prevalent in your marketplace these can be qualified for use with iaX. This is typically initiated by the assay manufacturer as there is a cost to perform the qualification processing and onboarding, but we can review this on a case by case basis. If you have the appropriate expertise it’s also possible that you can perform the qualification and onboarding of iaX qualified assays.
